Totem Snip Sync
This Ableton Preset is made with Live’s Auto Pan Effect. It’s designed to chop or dice audio instead of sending it to the left or right channels. Furthermore, all the macros are setup between two instances: one for the upbeat and one for the downbeat. I find even time divisions typically work best with longer ones on the upbeat. For examples, you’ll notice the native setting has 1/16th notes for the downbeat and ¼ notes for the upbeat. This can save a HUGE amount of time manually dicing audio and lends similar flexibility to some of the most sophisticated dicers out there!

This plugin comes as a .adg file. It was created in Ableton 10, so this will work with any Ableton version 10+. Once you download it and drag it to wherever your Ableton User Library is stored(, you should have no problem searching: “Totem Snip Sync” in your Ableton Program Files Master Search :) Enjoy!
